We Are A Premier Worship School For Worship Leaders, Musicians, and Ministers
Cruse Institute for the Arts provides an affordable Bachelor’s Degree in Music Ministry and an Associates Degree of Theology by coupling key components—Excellence and the Anointing.
CIFTA (originally located in Austin, TX) is now online! The school was founded by Joe and Becky Cruse, formerly with The Cruse Family, one of America’s first families of Contemporary Worship Music.
We offer the aspiring worship leader or musician a solid foundation in music theory, composition, and performance. For those who feel called to pastoral ministry, we also offer a strong foundation in Biblical studies and theology courses, preparing future pastors and leaders.
“The passion of our lives has always been to take people to a higher place of worship. Institute for the Arts was born out of a clear mandate from God and a burning desire to see this land filled with anointed and excellent worship leaders, musicians and artists. We embrace the future with great anticipation and look forward to all God has for you here at Cruse IFTA.“ – Joe & Becky Cruse
“I love Cruse Institute for the Arts because they embody their vision of bringing excellence and the anointing together. As a student, I not only learned how to be a great musician but also how to be a great leader for the congregation and the teams that I lead. I feel empowered to step into any ministry role that God has for me whether that is in music or any other area.”
70% of our graduates are currently serving in capacities of ministry around the world!
“Being a part of Cruse Institute for the Arts was one of the greatest decisions we made and truly set us up for success in ministry. Their anointing to teach the Word of God and also hear the Holy Spirit is essential to those with a desire to lead a healthy church or team.”
“I’m so thankful for my years at CIFTA for so many reasons. I gained family, friends and relationships that are still in my life after all these years. I grew in my gifts immensely!!! But most importantly… I learned to grow in intimacy with Jesus, I learned to wait, listen, receive and how to gladly waste my life in worship to Him.”
